The business soon expanded with the acquisition of US based, Midwest Manufacturing Co. and UK based Lloyds Bierly Hill. With these acquisitions and a commitment to precision engineering, ARGL Ltd quickly rose to prominence and was soon established as a world leader in Starter Ring Gear Manufacturing. In 2020, the company was acquired by Singapore based firm, Investment Opportunities IV Pte Ltd, a Singapore entity that is managed by Ares SSG, one of the largest alternative investment managers in Asia-Pacific.
